Armor - Getting Destructive Up In Here?
NI kind of already does this; I'd like to take it a little further. If we're casting this as a war for teh Tubes, then the enemies of order are not only mines, but also those pesky, distracting portals. (Yes, I'm using TNN terminology. Oh well.)
What if, then, the bedouin class has the option to remove one or more portals from a page? Not accidentally destroy them when they pass through, as happens with Shielded Guardians in NI, but deliberately remove them.
Success rate should not be at 100% and the odds of success should be lower the better a rating a portal has. (0% chance of success with a 5-star portal, 20% for 4 down through 80% for a 1-star portal)
There's definitely the chance of abuse by bedouin-types here, so a) a certain number of people should have already taken/rated the portal and b) it should cost something to attempt this. (The equiv of pings or maybe a shot of armor, whatever.) Also, this should be a higher-level ability and perhaps bedouins should be required to take the portal before choosing whether or not they want to attempt to destroy it. I'm wavering on the making bedouins take the portals part.

I don't think it should 0% for a 5 star portal, just a quite low percentage: e.g 10-15%, since you can only go through once and never have another chance (you cant just spam it). I like this idea, because it fosters more inter-class fighting which is what I like to see. As well, it bolsters my idea on portals messing with missions because bedouins can peruse through missions and find portals to destroy, just like they would for mines (keeping the missions safe from hijacking and the tubes safe from splosions.) This boosts the mission economy, as more people (bedouins) are taking missions and also the portal economy if bedouins are forced to go through them before destroying them. !! yaaay ideas
